A specialised wheel bolt featuring a floating conical seat that allows up to 1.5mm of adjustment in any direction. This "wobble" or "vari" design compensates for minor PCD (bolt pattern) misalignment between wheel and hub, enabling fitment of wheels with slightly different bolt circles.

How Vari Bolts Work

The conical seat moves independently within the bolt head, allowing the bolt to pass through slightly off-centre holes while still centring the wheel correctly on the hub. As you tighten the bolt, the floating cone aligns itself to the wheel hole angle, distributing clamping force evenly.

Important Safety Note

Vari bolts are designed to compensate for small tolerances (±1 - 1.5mm), not major PCD differences. They should only be used with appropriate hub-centric rings and wheels that are close to the correct bolt pattern. Always ensure proper wheel centring and re-torque after 50 - 100 miles.
